Fleet Week Events at Millburn High School - Friday, May 25

After this event was rained out last year, the Marines selected Millburn High School again as the only high school in New Jersey to host this exciting event in its own backyard.

The aircraft are scheduled to land on the high school athletic fields at 10:00 am. The Marines will then disembark the aircraft, and set up a static display that will be open for Millburn High School students and staff from 10 am to 12 pm.

Community members are invited to participate in the events from 12:30 to 2:00 pm.

This event includes:

  • four Marine Corps aircraft
  • opportunity to walk through each aircraft and interact with Marine pilots
  • military displays
  • explosive ordinance robotics demonstration
  • demonstration of the different weapon systems that are used in the Marine Corps

Marines will embark the aircraft at approximately 2 pm and leave at approximately 2:30 pm.

Parking will be available on the front lawn of Millburn High School, 462 Millburn Avenue from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.

Please see attached Advisory from the Marine Corps with more details (and photos) about the aircraft and the demonstrations.
