News & Announcements

Security and Social Media - December 17, 2021

In light of threats to schools being made on social media, there will be an increased police presence at our schools today. Law enforcement confirms there are no credible threats to our schools.

Intermittent Internet Outages Today

The school district is experiencing intermittent internet outages this morning affecting our computer network and phones. It seems to be back in service at this time, but we have been told that Comcast, our internet provider, is having outage issues in our area, and in other parts of New Jersey and Philadelphia. They estimate the time for full recovery to be around 10:15 am.

If you need to reach the school, please try calling or emailing, and if there is no response, try again.

Vaccine Interest Survey

Please submit THIS SURVEY ASAP to let us know of your interest in having your children (ages 5-11) participate in a vaccine clinic in the district. We need to provide this data to St. Barnabas so that they can plan a clinic as soon as possible.

Deerfield School Update

Dr. Burton sent out a detailed update about the delayed opening at Deerfield due to a phone threat, ultimately deemed to be non-credible:

Millburn Schools are Closed on Thursday, September 2

Millburn Schools are closed today, Thursday, September 2, due to the effects of the flooding and storm cleanup around town. We hope all of our school families and staff are safe and sound. We will follow up later today with updates about school schedules for tomorrow.
Thank you. Stay well

New Student Registration Underway for 2021-22 School Year

Registration for the 2021-2022 school year takes place using the online Registration Gateway system.  Parents of incoming students are encouraged to register as soon as possible once you have proof of residency, so the school district can plan for the number of students who will be attending in the Fall of 2021.
